Position Summary
This position will support quality improvement, strategic planning, and communications efforts across the Chatham County Public Health Department. The role will contribute to evaluation activities, action planning, and cross-division initiatives that strengthen public health programming.
Pay & Compensation

$3,840 for course of 6-week practicum

Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate with supervisors and program staff to ensure project goals are met and documentation is maintained.
Develop and assist with action plans, communications materials, and evaluations for existing and new services.
Participate in and serve as a resource for cross-division and community advisory groups for harm reduction, nutrition, sexually transmitted infections, and more.
Support quality improvement, strategic planning, and communications activities.
Required Skills & Experience
None outside of NC Public Health Pathways Practicum Program eligibility requirements.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Familiarity with community-facing public health initiatives.
Interest in working with cross-division teams.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Additional Information
Student is requested to work one full day in person per week. No hourly requirement - we are flexible to requirements of selected student's program.
